Dadaluma
Hello again, still trying to get my car running correctly, My question is I am running the Extra code 3.2.1 on my megasquirt 2 3.0 board, but I assembled the board to the regular assembly instructions on the megasquirt main site. Is this okay or are there differences in the assembly process that would interfere with operation. Should I switch back to the standard code or change the board to reflect the msextra install. Thank you

Matt Cramer
The regular build guide can be used if you're using the Extra code; it just doesn't include mods for some of the extra I/O the Extra code allows.
akeboshi
Just a quick side note, the standard stim board doesnt support the tach input for the extra code. Example is I had a motor running the 12-1 diy wheel with b&g code, works fine on motor and stim, same motor and same stim with extra code = no bueno amigo with the stim. I had to use the engine to check the firmware LOL. Im running extra code boooyyyy!
