randy 77zt
It is the reverse light switch-might be available from local napa store.Or if your dont have the back up light seal it up with jb weld
J240ZTurbo
are you sure? I see another reverse switch on there already?
NewZed
Look in the hole it came from and put the transmission in reverse. See if something moves. If not, try neutral. If nothing there, try top gear. Nothing? Try fourth. Or look at the drawing in the FSM. They're all labeled.
J240ZTurbo
is that the top gear switch?
aarang
Reverse light switch. The other one you are speaking of is the neutral safety switch. I broke the same one on my last T-5.

J240ZTurbo
So can I just block this out? I don't need reversed lights anyway????
GOTHALOSISM
Looks like a drain plug with a magent end for particals. or as said the back up light switch. Edited April 1, 2012 by GOTHALOSISM
jasper
Don't use JB weld. If you do seal up the hole, use a non permanent silicone sealer. IMHO,reverse lights are a safety issue. I would make sure they are functional.
