mattausten23
I've noticed that the S30s in Japan have a grey tail light panel and the US have black ones. I want to paint mine that grey color and was wondering exactly which grey that it?
Six_Shooter
I believe the grey panels are just painted by the owners. I've seen a myriad of colours painted on those panels of Japanese S30s. morbias
Pretty sure it's the other way around The original colour is that gunmetal grey, but most people just respray in black once it starts looking like crap (at least that was my excuse)
inZane 240
Try 1975 BMW Anthracite. No clear coat for the matte finish. Edited April 9, 2012 by inZane

AZGhost623
I just was working on mine today, and notice the Japanese plastic trim is a bit bigger than whats stock on mine. Ill need to file the japanese trim down a bit around the edges if I am going to want to get it to fit. My 280z is a very early 76 so I wonder if the tail lights are slightly different in the early years compared to the later years.
