  1. http://inzane240.blogspot.com/2011/04/soundweather-proofing.html 2003 Kia sportage for the doors. For the hatch I ended up taking out the weatherstripping I installed in the link above and used the weatherstripping from a 79-93 mustang hatch.
  2. Sourced it to a bad splice after the fuse box. Thanks for the suggestions.
  3. Im at a loss. Car loses all electrical power, including ignition system, at low RPM acceleration and turns. The voltage gauge remains steady at 14 volts during power cut, so something at or after the fusebox is causeing the problem. Car is a 72 w/MSD ignition, Internally regulated alternator, Blade type fuse box, Voltage gauge. I started having the problem after I installed a new external fuel pump. I don't know if it is a coincidence or not because I had not driven the car for a few months prior to the fuel pump install. Anyone else have this problem before that can suggest some places I should be checking. I dont want to trace wires if I don't have to Thanks!
  4. Need a drivers side window regulator shipped to 95242. Mine is busted. Need a pic before committing. Show me what ya got! Thanks.
  5. Any year. Any condition. Prefer location within 300mi of Sacramento CA.
  6. Found this on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/OBX-SS-Exhaust-Manifold-Header-Nissan-Datsun-240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-Fairlady-Z-NEW-/200885261620?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3A240Z&hash=item2ec5b1d534&vxp=mtr Thoughts?

  8. OMP Classic. Had the center section re-upholstered. Total was around 500USD
  9. Try 1975 BMW Anthracite. No clear coat for the matte finish.
  10. I have the same problem. Did you remove both check valves in the master cylinder or just the one for the rear circuit?
  11. Hahah those picture look familiar. Been there before. Nice work!
  12. There's an argument in the family that the third picture is a picture of my car (grandfather owned it since 73.) However, my uncle and I agree that it is the same Z in the first two, his old 240z. Only difference are the accent stripes on the rocker. Our family owned a total of four Zs in the 70s. Three 240Zs & one 280Z. Of course I wasn't alive during all of this... At my Uncle's wedding. Mom is far left. Grandpa is the tall guy with sweet shades: Uncle's Z again in front of my grandparent's house, but this time with rocker stripes.
  13. Nice Z. I like the wire tuck. You have inspired me to do the same on my Z. Keep up the good work.

  14. Oh ya and this expandable sleeving is a must. Much better than the crappy plastic wire loom you see at pepboys. http://www.frys.com/product/2281398
  15. There's no single way to do it. Just buy some wire in the appropriate sizes/colors, a soldering iron, some heat shrink, and start lengthening/shortening wires. Get creative with the routes. For example, I put the ignition box under the cowl routed the wiring down through the cab then back out to the inner fender where I mounted the ignition coil. Get creative, but don't get lazy. Make sure what you're doing is safe. It also helps to eliminate wiring you wont use as you go. That way you don't have to worry about tucking it. Make sure it all works before you start putting things back together.
  16. Awesome find. Black hood looks good on the Z 432R
  17. What's up bud. Did you end up using those springs? Your car looks legit! I had the epsilons on the car for a moment, but like the wats much better. More of a classic look. The epsilons are just gathering dust for now. Hit me up some time and we'll cruise.
  18. I tried to order some recently and you can only get the left one. Right is NLA. It might have been the other way around, but it's still the same problem.
  19. It's always been so hard to find affordable wheels for these cars. It's nice to see manufacturers stepping up. Had lots of wheels over the years, but I think I like these ones the best so far. 14x6 and 14x9 watanabes
