Robftw Posted April 16, 2012 Share Posted April 16, 2012 Does anyone know how high the pantera hatch's flat part sits above the rear deck metal / spare tire thing? I have a fuel cell there and i would like the pantera hatch to cover it up. I would be fiber glassing a beauty panel to hide the entire rear hatch area of the car. here is a very crude drawing. "I'm not sure how far above the floor it sits as the floor height varies in the first gens. BUT I can tell you the height on the pantera hatch is roughly 9" from top to bottom and that the hatch is pretty much flat from the closing latch point on back. Pharaohabq Posted April 19, 2012 Share Posted April 19, 2012 Looks kinda funky to me, but hey it's your car... but yeah, it looks like it's roughly the same height as the base of the rear hatch. if your fuel cell fit in the tirewell and didn't come up higher than the latch, I'd guess you'd be fine.
