ZR8ED
Hi all I'm kinda curious about the total costs to do a 327or 350 chev conversion. Including estimates for labour. This project should include the motor with the appropriate parts ie aluminum parts to keep the weight down, and any other parts that make this converion look at least reasonable..(not a show winning engine bay) hp in the 350hp range. The car already has upgraded brakes/suspension, and a full rollcage. This is just to get an idea for $ planning and need the motor to be reliable, but not an all out hp/high rpm race motor. Please email me if you can. I'm new to this site, and don't come by all that often (yet) but am a regular at Z Car Com. Thanks. Scott. Drax240z
Ack, Scott! You're thinking about removing that work of art you have under your hood? Or is the fuel economy thing getting to you? You are one of the last people I thought I'd see V8'ing... ------------------ Drax240z 1973 240z - L28TURBO transplant on the way! http://members.xoom.com/r_lewis/datsun.html
Scottie-GNZ
Scott, surprised to see you here but welcome and you will be back and often. There is a more serious technical nature to this forum. You wont find much discussion about key fobs here, hehe. BTW, are you thinking carbureted or injected? Scottie

Mikelly
Best bang for the buck is the GM crate ZZ4 package for $3200. If you shop around, you might be able to get it on special for under 3K! It comes with aluminum heads and intake already, so all you need is the accessories.. Then expect another $350 for the JTR kit and then the cost of a descent 5 speed or automatic... about $1000... then you are done. Glad you came over!
