steve260z
Well, after putting my stroker together and getting the motor in the car, I just noticed one header bolt is broken off in the head. (Machine shop missed this as well) Its the very 1st hole in the head. If I make sure the header flange is perfectly flat and do not use this 1st bolt hole will I have a leak????? Crap...... Thanks steve
Z Greek
It will absolutely leak if one stud is not used (any of them) sorry to be a downer, but it must be fixed.
ctc
I had that problem and fixed it with a hand drill and harbor freight stud extractor. You might be surprised, you might be able to spin it out with with friction and a drill bit in reverse. Won't hurt to try, just be careful. BlueStag
It will certainly leak. Stuff some rags into the ports and extract it with an extractor. They cost about $2. Hope not to strip the threads in the head, but even that can be repaired in place.
