280z4me2
Been reading of trouble with block buggers due to angle plugs. Will the stock camaro headers clear in an s30?

280z4me2
This is a some what budget build so If I can get away with some used 350 block huggers I may do that. I have read people are using regular block huggers on the LT1 even though the heads are D-Port and it hasnt caused a problem for them. Anyone here ever use a specific brand of block huggers other than JTR and got way with clearance?
GOTHALOSISM
What is hard is getting the angle plug ones that won't leak. Thats why we sujest the JTR ones.
Bartman
I'm running ceramic coated Patriot block huggers on my LT1 with no clearance problems.

GOTHALOSISM
Are you guys using the jtr mounts or the scarab/msa ones?
wheelman
I'm running the Hedman Tight Tubes on iron LT1 heads (not angle plug) with no problems except access to a couple of the plugs for removal is tight. These headers provide a lot of clearance to the frame rail on the right and the steering shaft. Edit: Running JTR mounts. GOTHALOSISM
Huh had I known that I probably would have gone that route instead. As luck would have it though I have had no issues what so ever with my JTR headers.
