adisturbedv8z
I have my motor and transmission bolted up finally! Going to be installing everything else soon after I find someone to shorten my driveline. My question is this. For now could I use the stock electric fuel pump off my 260 to feed my SBC? Just had a baby and wife has taken control of the finances so im looking for ways to save a little money to atleast get it running and then install new fuel pump later on. Thanks everyone. adisturbedv8z
also if anyone could recommend an inexpensive FPR to use with the stock fuel pump that would be great!
NewZed
Doesn't your SBC have a mechanical pump bolted to it? I believe that they are designed to self-regulate pressure for carb use.

emeraldlion
The answer is yes. You can run the stock fuel pump and lines on a mild v8 swap. You can run an inexpensive dead head fpr regulator with no return and get it running. It isn't optimal, but at the pressures your pump is supplying it probably won't create too much of an issue. SUNNY Z
I have a holley pump and FPR that I'd let go of pretty cheap. Its what I had on my SBC long ago. LMK
emeraldlion
I'll vouch for sunny, good guy. Helped me get my SBC moutned up. Thanks sunny, it isn't on the road yet, but only because I haven't gotten exhaust finished up. Will post video when that is done
Pyro
Don't use a holley pump, It will wake up the baby! very loud pump. Use the stock pump. Measure the stock pressure first, then worry about getting a fpr.
