cws1807
'82 turbo dizzy MSII controlling fuel and spark (3.2.1 release firmware) Trying to get my car started on MSII, it will fire and run for about 2 seconds then dies. But I have not gotten TunerStudio to sync with ecu at all. I haven't been able to find anyone's ignition settings for the latest release of firmware (3.2.1) but I here is what I have it set as now. Spark mode: Basic trigger Trigger Angle/Offset: 60 Skip pulses: 3 Ignition Input Capture: Rising Edge Spark Output: Going High (Inverted) Number of coils: Single Spark A output pin: JS10 I'm guessing that because the ecu is not synced it is cutting spark or fuel after just a couple of seconds, any help would be greatly appreciated. motomanmike
Do you have a stim?
cws1807
Yes I do and when the RPM switch on the stim is set to NPN the ecu is synced and operates perfectly, however with the switch on PNP I get nothing at all.
cws1807
I've confirmed that the wiring to my dizzy is correct and I am getting a signal from it, but could I have a bad dizzy that's giving an incorrect or intermittent signal that's causing the sync errors? It sure can; try capturing the sync errors in a tooth log.

Matt Cramer
It would be better if you could attach the whole file.
