If you're driving around in the rain all the time, I'd be prone to say fiberglass. If the roads are bad and you think they could crack easily, I would say that's a pro-metal argument. I just wish mine didn't need so much finesse to fit "properly." Either way, if you take care of your vehicle than there shouldn't be much issue.
