'77280zxT
Hey guys I'm new to this forum and about 2 weeks ago I bought a '77 280z 2+2 with a L28et swap. I've noticed that when I floor it, at about 3000rpm it backfires and stops accelarating.. From what I can find in this forum it seems it's either an ecu issue or an afm issue. Do you guys have any ideas to add? Thanks ahead of time.

NewZed
Check (measure) your fuel pressure, and fuel flow for starters. Might be low.
78zstyle
Ensure that the AFM is the proper turbo AFM.. I've heard of people using the N/A afm and that happening.
