str8pipez
While changing my front brakes I noticed what looked like a couple drops of oil under the passenger door. Out of curiosity I looked under the body and noticed there was leaking around 2 of the body plugs. I've attached a couple photos of the leaking area. Anyone have any ideas? The fluid was oily and colored like brake fluid. I'm not losing brake fluid or any other fluid that I know of. Kinda crazy. NewZed
Look at the other side of the plug. It's under the carpet. Probably aniifreeze from a leaky heater core or hoses.
78Z/250GTO
Ditto on that thought. Antifreeze from the heater area mixing with the carpet color and oozing out can make it look oilish.
J-hop
It could be rain water as well. If it were coolant I would expect that the OP would have smelled it if there was enough to soak the carpet and pool around the drain plug like that. Seems that St.Louis has had a decent amount of rain lately so I wouldn't jump to a leaky heater core quite yet!
