Richs72RBz
I'm going to be ordering tires for my wheels tomorrow. I'm looking for pics of 16x9.5 wheels with 225/45/16 or 225/50/16. I'm not into the super stretched look so just wondering how stretch those tires will look. Thanks guys.
280z"Vador"
I have 16x10 wheels at rear wrapped with 225/50zr16 if it can help you : It gives a bubble rounded style more than a straight stretched effect in my opinion. I'm not into the stretched look either and I'm happy with the result. Ticker sidewalls of zr tires helps I think

280z"Vador"
16x9 in front with the same size of tires (225\50)My first setup was some sportmax 16x8 +0 with 225/50 tires and you just have to roll the inner lip of the stock fender to get rid of the rubbing and you are ready to go

Figured i might have to roll the fenders . Do have flares , bought from MSA , just not ready to do the work , on the bottom of my to-do-list . Just got the LS1 in it , doing detail work at this time . Thanks

Thanks You'll have a bit more rubber in the back, but this should give you an idea since its similar. I have 16x8.25, 0 offset, no spacers with 205/50 tires

Just trying to close the gap between the tires and the fenders . I haven't lowered the car yet . It looks like a 4x4 with the lighter V8 . LOL . I would like to have the same stance as yours , it looks great ! Edited March 5, 2013 by Domzs

Domzs
Ryan , Just got tires mounted and on the car . Yeah , 225 are a little wider and an inch taller . Still has that 4x4 look . LOL . Just wounder what spring and strut combo you are running ? I want an inch or so lower in the rear and at least 2 inches in the front . Thanks
ryan95i4
eibach springs with a coil removed. Coilovers with sectioned strut tubes would get you the same look (or any look you want) and a better ride though.

ryan95i4
Thanks , how does it ride with your setup ? Without sectioned strut tubes, suspension travel is limited. Its a stiff ride for sure
