ISPKI
Hello everyone, I find myself in need of a new thermostat housing for my 1977 280z. Mine broke when I installed a new thermal transmitter. Will need to be shipped to 06035. Edited March 30, 2013 by ISPKI
LanceVance
The 77' had a regular 2 bolt housing right? If so, I've got one, I'll snap some pictures when I get home from work. If you want them on your email or phone just PM me your contact info. -Marcus
twofouroh
That happens from somebody over torqueing the temp sender. Mine did that to me, from some PO years ago over torqueing it and getting a crack started. I limped along by cleaning the hell out of the threads that were left and finger tightening a new sender in coated in Permatex grey. Lasted me the month it took to chase down another housing. Good luck Scott B Edited May 21, 2013 by twofouroh
Datsun_Z240
I have a practically new thermostat housing from an 81 turbo. Should fit no problem. Also has extra provision in case you want to add a sensor. Take a look and let me know if you are interested.
