omgtofu Posted April 15, 2013 Share Posted April 15, 2013 I placed an order with them 10 days ago and the money was charged. the next day i get an email from them saying quote "your order was refunded". the email said nothing else. the money was not actually refunded. I sent them an email, since that is the only way to contact them as they have no telephone apparently, and got no reply. tooquick260 Posted April 15, 2013 Share Posted April 15, 2013 I heard from Techno Toy Tuning (T3) that the distributor sold there rights to another company then that company filed for bankruptcy. So now Tokico is working out the distribution routing and managing in the US. Will be 2 to 3 months till they get this figured out and fill orders outstanding. They outsourced all of their importation, warehousing, and distribution to one of their WDs (http://www.belshoreinc.com/) in mid-2011. It has been screwed up since then and I bailed on selling their products in late 2011. Belshore went under in late 2012: http://business-bankruptcies.com/cases/bel-shore-enterprises-inc From what I understand Hitachi is shutting down Tokico and pulling out of the aftermarket.
