WRC17
I have a 1977 280Z and I recently did a lot of brake work. I replaced the rear brake cylinders, shoes, and replaced the rubber lines with steel braided lines. The issue I am having is whenever I gently press the brake pedal, it goes straight to the floor and the dash brake light comes on. However, if I jab the brake pedal quickly, the pressure is great and the car stops just fine. I don't think this is a bleeding issue, so what could this be? My first thought is that the master cylinder is bad, but is there something else it could be?

RebekahsZ
Had same exact symptoms with a clutch master cyl last year. Replaced master cyl, problem solved. That's three in agreement.
