Mikelly
Guys, Due to dry sump mounting, I lost the lower left mount position. I need to be able to mount the alternator high to the right side of the motor. My ONLY drive sources are the alternator, crank and waterpump. Any ideas or mount/alrenator combos that are already in use would be helpful, and yes I searched... Mike
RebekahsZ
Not arguing here. But what are you mounting high on the left where the power steering pump usually goes? Perhaps power steering?
SUNNY Z
There's several options. Quick search yields: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LS1-Alternator-Relocation-Bracket-Kit-/260877066484 You'll have to look around to find the heights and locations. Not sure if they'll fit under an S30 hood
Zfan1
I tried the high mount and it did not work for me, gave up on the LS3 accessories and went with LS1 accessories and it worked.
yamahondarider
High right? looking at the motor? as in, drivers side? Forgive me if I'm wrong but doesnt the stock truck 5.3 PS/Alt bracket stuck the alternator up there?

LT1RAY
Modular turbo sells a nice relocation kit, as does Huron Speed, On3 performance, and Spoolin performance. I have the Modular turbo unit and it works great. The 105 amp alternator sits level with the top of the TB, the truck 130 amp alternator sits a little above the TB. I use it with LS1 accessories.
