cjack300zx
Don't know what color your interior is but they are always on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Datsun-240Z-260Z-280Z-Door-Handle-Cup-Insert-Left-NEW-OEM-Nissan-/221396379375?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item338c40a6ef&vxp=mtr
Sideways
Haha, i knew I shouldve used a pictureMy apologies. Not the interior door handle, the exterior door handle You can juuuuust barely make out the little plastic bit on the left side of this picture on the back of the handle. The door rod inside the door has a ball socket that snaps into this little platic piece, and when you open the handle, it lifts up on the mechanism inside the door. I need this plastic piece
z240
Well I have plenty of old used door handles that have that little plastic piece. If you can't find one closer to home, I'll send you a couple for the price of postage. Let me know at z240@shaw.ca
cgsheen
And, of course, the Z isn't the only Nissan vehicle that used this handle or that plastic part. Further, that particular handle (or door mechanism) isn't the only one that uses that, or an extremely similar, part. You'll find something like it on most every door mechanism that uses a rod. Plenty of Nissan's South of the Equator aren't there?
Kurbycar32
I took my locks in to get rekeyed, the lock guy handed me an assorted collection of these things when he saw mine were disintegrating. I dont have any spares, but a locksmith might have that type of thing lying around in your town.
