mtnickel
For those who haven't seen this: Just discovered these "roadkill" guys a couple days ago. So much fun.
mtnickel
Mods can delete. This is a repost as now seen in Non-tech section. My searches for roadkill and motortrend didn't come up. My apologies.
RebekahsZ
Last year, a guy started a build thread for a killer 4.3 motor, but the thread burned out. I don't know if the car did or not. The fabrication quality was amazing.
socorob
Back around 1990 a friend of mine had a 4.3 in a 1980 rx7. With slicks and nitrous he would lift the front tires a few inches at the stickier tracks. Car had a full interior as it was his daily driver in his senior year in high school. If I remember correctly he was running mid 130s in the quarter with it. It was a scary little car.
tonysdatsun
Roadkill is the best. Been a fan since episode three. My parents used to drive old Astro vans back in the day so I always have some vortec 4.3 love. Plus being "just the six" junkyard parts are plentiful. And you can use any about Chevy v8 bellhouse trans! Great motors and obviously boost happy
