TimZ
Seeing as how crankshaft vibrations are a known problem with the L-series (or any inline six, for that matter), I wouldn't recommend this, unless you find a way to incorporate the dampner function. Wierd coincidence - I just got done posting about this on another forum: SHO Forum - crankshaft dampner post

jeffp
Give Dave Robello a call at Robello racing, he just had a unit made for the racers he does engines for. The dampener/pully is made by BHJ and it is excellent quality and workmanship.
Guest zphreek
hey guys, i was sitting around last night thinking of things i could make for my Z and i thought of making a single groove crank pulley for my 72 Z. I was hoping that some of you experienced guys could answer a couple of questions... first, the only material i can get to make stuff out of is mild steel, would i need to make it out of something tougher?? second, would i need to get it balanced after i made it?? i would make it on a lathe of course. what do you guys think?? home-made grenade??
