acrylic headlight covers

Ok so i made some headlight covers for my gnose. Real gnose rings used (sourced from yahooauctions.co.jp) as it was the most suitable option (and most cost effective as they where a bit cheaper than full covers).

Fairly straight forward.. I didn't heat up the acrylic, just bended it to fit the rings.

I could use some advice on getting them into a more "bubble" shape like the originals

They fit nicely, but are more of a straight cone-ish shape, rather than a contoured bubble.

Would appreciate if anyone has suggestions on getting that shape correctly. I know i may need to heat them up at this point but im not sure how. I got a heat gun.

hopefully this is sufficient enough. Probably need to add just a little bit more material. Just takes days to dry.

Im not planing to stuff it in the oven, my gnose is 2 piece.. but hoping to be able to grab the acrylic fresh out the oven than just toss it on. Good idea with the velvet, i will have to pick some up.
