Gsax
Ok guys I currently have a l28 that's seized. I will rebuild the motor later on. So I purchased a good l24 with e88 head. My question is can I swap heads (n47) into the l24 so I do t have to buy xtra parts to make the car run.? Do I have to modify anything so this can work ? BluDestiny
You can swap any head to any L-series block, just make sure you get the right head gasket. I believe the gasket should be matched to the block. I'm assuming you want to stick with the n47 because of fuel injection parts? Xnke
Not entirely true, but close. You will need to make sure you don't have exhaust valve-to-block contact...depending on how the block/head is machined it can happen.
BluDestiny
Completely slipped my mind. I forgot the valves in the later engines are a little longer as well.
