Synlubes
Ok, the P-90A is a hydro lifter head and the P-90 is ajustabe(non-hydro)! Now, does the P-90 head have the same oil passages(that feed the hydro lifers) cast into them as does the the P-90A? I know the whole size is different where the "lifters" go! Thats not what this ? is about! Hope this makes sence!!! I have a P-90A that i was going to have threaded selves made to be able to install ajustable rocker pivits, but have a concern about the oil supply wholes that feeds the hydro lifters! Any info would be helpful! If the P-90 does not have the oil feed wholes I would like to go with it instead the P-90A!
280Zone
Doug, I am not sure if I can help with your question much but don't forget, not all of the P90A heads have hydraulics.
Synlubes
Ok, thanks I did not know that! So, maybe they are from the same casting and some are drilled for hydro lifters and some are drilled for ajustable pivits??? Again, my concern is with the pressurized oil feed under the installed selves and ajustable pivits! Any other wisdom out there!
Z-Gad
I had mechanical lifter bosses made a few months ago with the correct size to fit the P90A hole. They worked fine w/o any problems.
Len
What did it it cost you Z-gad to have that done? Did they fit in the original rocker arms? I figure they drilled pivots for oil port?
