EF Ian
I'm trying to work out a good place to put a fuel filter, I want it under the car and there is not a huge amount of room down there, I'm running a custom made tank the same shape as an original one but with a fuel pump inside so all I need externally is the filter. I was thinking of fitting it either inside the spare wheel well or somehow securing it to the forward edge of it underneath the car just behind and above the tank. Some of the filters I was thinking of using: http://www.nukeperformance.com/products/fuel-filters/fuel-filter/ http://aeromotiveinc.com/products-page/fuel-filters/12317/10-micron-redblack-canister-fuel-filter/ http://aeromotiveinc.com/products-page/fuel-filters/12303/ss-series-40-micron-fuel-filter/ Anyone got photos of how they have installed theirs? hwvigo
I made a bracket for mine and mounted it in the stock fuel pump location. You are looking to use a much nicer filter than I did but the principal should be the same.
EF Ian
Something like that could work if the filter fits. I never had a fuel pump but I know where it would have mounted. I should point out that I'm not a home at the moment so its hard to visualise and check measurements, just going from memory.
