Guest Anonymous
What was stock compression on 82ZXT ? I ran a comp test and showed 120 across with a drop in the first cylinder ? I was thinking about just dropping this motor in with a Turbo & SDS but now im wondering if its in any kind of shape. Any way all info appreciated ! thanx ! SleeperZ
Sounds like it's in good shape. I usually measure between 100 and 110 psi per cylinder, but I live in Denver.
spork
well, my 83 runs right at 139-143 which are great numbers...your 120 I would say is average. I know the haynes manual says atleast 100psi in each, but the key is that you said theres a drop in the first cylinder. How big of a drop? They should generally be within 20% of each other. I personally prefer within 5 pounds of each other tho.
