crosseyedrob
hello, first off I'm a newbie to z cars and to hybrid. I tried to find some info but have been unsuccessful. I recently purchased a pallnet fuel rail and a new aeromotive fpr, and I'm unsure of how to plumb everything together. do I feed to fpr then rail then return from other end of rail? I ask because there is a bypass on the fpr is that the return line? or is the rail supposed to be dual feed or loop like the stock setup? thanks for any help
crosseyedrob
does the fuel line from tank got to fpr the rail or rail to fpr(which seems backwards to me, but I'm ignorant to the subject)
NewZed
What year? Use some caps. Look here for for diagrams. http://www.nicoclub.com/datsun-service-manuals , Engine Fuel chapter. Too bad if you're on a phone. The FPR acts like a pressure relief valve.

crosseyedrob
so if I'm looking at it right, on my new setup I would come from tank to one end of rail then out the other to the fpr and then return to tank from fpr?
cockerstar
You're describing a bypass system, which is common and effective. Google "fuel pressure regulator plumbing bypass" and look at some examples of plumbing. This should all be on Aeromotive's site.
