dsommer
OK we've seen two go over seas, who bought the cars? Are they individuals looking for the cars or are agents involved to check the cars out and finalize the deal? I sold the Scarab to a fellow in Norway through pictures only. Are these cars being sold through pictures only? Also what is the going price? I know the yellow one the guy was "asking" (if I remember) in the $40K range. So what gives, anybody know? Tony D
As with any sale of rare or high end automobiles either agents or "the grapevine" is heavily involved.
Phantom
Dave - didn't realize you had sold the Scarab. I guess you wanted a car you could play with rather than just preserve? Where are you with your 240 now?
dsommer
Bill lots of pics in my build thread. I'd rather have the Scarab back as opposed to the "build" I got involved in. Everything from new pans to new paint. I'll probably be scared to drive this one as it's become somewhat of a "show car" I normally make a few bucks on the cars I've had (Cobra, Scarab, 300zxTT but this one, fat chance. Phantom
David - tried to PM you but it wouldn't go through. Can't find your build thread. Help and old man out. Edited January 13, 2015 by Phantom
