Hypertek
I got this tall bre style spoiler from retro-spec. This is the 2nd one they sent me. First one was poor fitting. So i took that back to them and waited months to get this one. Fitment is better, but they forgot something.. hmmm.. Mounting holes! I was looking forward to mounting this, but obviously cant. I was thinking maybe some rivnuts into the fiberglass, but not sure how those would hold up. What do you guys think?
jhm
Their ad reads "ready to bolt on".....seems like they sent you an unfinished piece. I would send it back (again) and ask for a complete spoiler (i.e. one that includes the mounting hardware/provisions). If they can't do that, ask for your money back and go with another vendor. Short of molding the thing onto your car with glue and 'glass, I don't know if you'll achieve an installation that you'll be happy with. Hypertek
The rivnuts saved the day I will throw some 3m tape on there when i paint the car, it shouldn't go anywhere after that. Edited May 25, 2015 by Hypertek
