mundzy
I'm having some issues with my front fender flares, on my 1978 280z it has a plastic splashguard screwed in to the wheel well. With this being said, when I put the front flare on, I cut the body and that means the splash guard won't fit anymore. Which compromises protection from bare metal, please help, any suggestions or own experience?

98blackbell
Bare metal should be coated
socorob
maybe you could bolt brackets to the underside of the bolts that hold the flares on to screw the inner fender to for support.
RebekahsZ
I don't know how to suggest a solution, but I understand the issue. My 240z has no liners. The other day I ran over something and my tire slung it up into the fender. Now I have two nice little dents with cracked paint from the inside out! Fender liners are nice. str8pipez
So I think there are 3 plastic guards. Behind the headlight, above the tire and behind the tire protecting the door hinge cavity. How do you mean it doesn't fit? I'll doing my flares (75) soon and would like to know what you have going on.
