Hoover123
Price range depends on the car. Wish I could be more specific but let me know what you have and we can talk.

Hoover123
Interesting. Seems like an honest car. That'd be some road trip. I would not rule out a car in Cali but would probably have to be closer to exactly what I want than if it were in the Northeast. Something will come available soon...........Fall is near. RebekahsZ
1971 240z? Perhaps a tail light swap? Or a data plate swap to get around smog?

Hoover123
Maybe you know of a solid car to start with?
Scarab#157
If you are looking at going the route of building one from the ground up. I have a the perfect car for you. A 1973 one owner Arizona car that is 99% rust free with 60,600 original miles on it. I was not actively looking to sell but for the right price/offer I would strongly consider! We picked the car up last December. The car is now located in Wisconsin. Here are a few pics. If you have any questions, let me know. Scarab#157
The damage you see on the drivers door and front fender was from a women who backed into the car in a parking lot. I actually have the womans hand written note as well as the insurance papers with estimates for the repair. I will shoot a few pics of those items and post them up. The right rear dent was from the owners wife who drove into it with her truck. They never fixed either of the issues. As you can see from the pics of the rear of the car, it's 100% rust free on those dents!!! Shows what that hot dry Arizona air does to preserve a car. If that happened in Wisconsin or out east where you live, the car would be shot. I do have a complete rust free rear hatch and right rear quarter piece that I have for the repair. Both very easy fixes!!
RebekahsZ
I don't see any 1% rust!
Scarab#157
I guess I would call it more like a surface rust. There is almost no clear coat left on the car thanks to 43 years in that hot Arizona sun. I was blown away when I saw the shape of the car. Here are a few pics of the paper work I got with the car that explains the drivers side dent on the door and fender. The one pic is the women's actual hand written note she left on the Datsun when she hit it. From the insurance report, the women hit the 240 with a 1973 pinto! The accident happened 9/26/77 in Huntington Beach California. Check out those labor rates to fix the car back in 1977! 15 hours of work at $12 an hour! 88dangerdan
You wouldn't find a note on your car these days.
Hoover123
That Z is beautiful. She is a time capsule, I don't think Id have the heart to cut into her. A car like that should be cleaned up, serviced and enjoyed. Great find btw
