Hoover123, your right, that's kinda been the feedback we have been getting from not only other "Z" enthusiasts, but other car enthisiasts in general. These all original rust free examples are getting very hard to find. Before we bought the car, it had not been driven since 1982! The first time we got the car running we where blown away that everything worked! Zero electrical issues!Thank god my partner in crime on these projects is an Infiniti master technician as well as a Cobb pro tuner and general Datsun/Nissan junky who owns and runs his own performance shop.

In the last couple of weeks we have mounted and balanced 4 new tires. New front and rear brake hoses including rebuild kit for the fronts and rear drums. new clutch master and brake master. Drained and filled all fluids ( trans, diff, oil, and coolant). Used redline for the trans and diff. New battery. Our dream is a 2011 GTR swap. As i mentioned in my first post, we had no intention of selling but my partner in this venture informed me a few weeks ago that he and his wife are expecting there first child!!! Long story short, we have 2 Datsun projects and his wife said he can't keep both and one has to go. We are torn because we have this amazing 240 and also own original Scarab #157. That scarab we found about a year ago and needs a complete restoration but it's complete and all there. Has a ton of provenance that came with the car.

We would love to keep them both but have decided to keep just one project. Which car we are going to keep is still undecided. Best of luck in your search!
