alexx933
I just upgraded to the STI rear end and would like to make my speedometer accurate. Plus the fuel side of the other gauge has floated so that a full tank reads as a half. Thanks in advance!
RebekahsZ
The only way your speedo will be accurate is if you have both the proper speedo gear AND the same tire outside diameter as "stock" for the car the gear was designed for. A sharpie marker on the glass of your speedo is cheap and fast.
alexx933
Yes, I have the correct tires. I know the cruising speeds that equate to be 5 over, but anything else is pretty much just a guess. I'd like to not rely upon my phone for a gps longer than needed.
NewZed
Here's a source - http://www.datsunstore.com/transmission-manual-shift-c-203_206_357_431_435.html Pretty sure the dealer might have them also. The 3.9 gear tooth number was used on some 1980's pickups also if you want to check the wrecking yards.
RebekahsZ
Sorry to state the obvious. I really mean it. I didn't mean to sound snotty. Edited August 17, 2015 by RebekahsZ

pepper
Indeed, Thanks to Alan T for posting a great list. I picked up this list a few years ago when I swapped to a 5 speed, very helpful.
