CXRacing
Hello again Z fanatics, its been awhile since I posted an update on the Z. It's spent the last two weeks at the local paint shop getting all the kinks and imperfections fixed before the entire body is painted. The orange came out a touch less saturated than what I initially had in mind but this looks just as good though. We still haven't decided on which wheels to go with but that'll come along later. The engine bay, interior, hood and the underneath of the Z are the closest to being complete. I remember someone asking me where we purchased the replacement floor panels but I don't think I ever replied. Anyhow, the panels were picked up from Classic 2 Current Fabrication (These guys are awesome, definitely check them out for any rusted parts that need replacement). And for the floor panel braces those were custom made by us and are now offered directly on out website. Hopefully this project doesn't drag on too long because I'm dying to see the final product. here are some photo's from when the car was at the painters. CXRacing
Car is out of the paint shop and back at the shop. We couldn't be any happier with the way it came out. What do you guys think? Now we just need to figure out what motor will sit in this baby alongside the wheels we want to go with. We will be reupholstering most of the interior using the original parts. Seats will be the originals using black leather, black suede and subtle orange stitching.
