RebekahsZ
The organizers of the Texas Mile just announced the intent to start an Arkansas 1-Mile event at Blytheville, Arkansas, June 3-5, 2016, which is just a little northwest of Memphis. Let's make a club event of it! Edited December 17, 2015 by RebekahsZ
heavy85
Thats only a 5 hour drive. I would definitely like to do that. Only reason Im not doing the Ohio Mile event is because of the LSR specific safety rules that are required at our speeds. If its like the Texas Mile event those LSR rules dont apply. This would make a great aero test! Any details or link or anything you can share? Edit - nevermind I found the link. https://www.usmileracing.com Edited December 17, 2015 by heavy85
RebekahsZ
I went to that link and there was nothing on rules. There is some chatter on the web about what kind of tires they allow, but I don't see a consensus. Seems they allow roadrace tires, but not drag radials. That will mess up my gearing, but oh well. I have some R6s I will bring along with my drag radials so I'm ready. Assuming my car is back together. I'm not sure how that date will work for me...two daughters graduating this year around that time. Was hoping it would be scheduled later in June or even in July. heavy85
Rules are buried in there. Yeah no drag radials https://www.usmileracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/2015-US-Mile-RRTS-Edition-061015.pdf Edited December 18, 2015 by heavy85
RebekahsZ
Went to AR Mile today just to watch. Great track, very well run event. May have to figure out how to fit 28" tall R7s on my car or 2018. Edited June 5, 2017 by RebekahsZ
