ECU problems.

I hope this is in the right section of the forum.

For starters I know the z30 to z31 ecu swap and maf has been beaten to death but my problem is rather odd.

For starters this engine more than likely started life as an n/a l28 due to a giveaway being it runs like crap (barely idles) and this is because it has an na ecu and harness (harness is light blue all one piece) yet it has a p90a heads off a turbo car this came on 83 motors only I believe. A t3/t4 turbo, msd ignition, the whole turbo manifold etc. 3" straight pipe all the way back. This engine looks normal until I called an area expert and he Said the ecu is from an n/a car which leads me to believe it was originally an na motor. My question is if I wanted to do the z31 ecu swap is there a way I can avoid rewiring the whole car for the New ecu or am I screwed.. I have extensively looked into ms2 efi and may be doing that based on how difficult it would be to get a z31 ecu going on my car.

Had the same issue with my partially completed project I bought. I ended up purchasing an '83 ECcs and harness from someone on here, and many headaches later I wish I would have just gone with the megasquirt. So many little issues have popped up and every one requires lots or research and some was nearly impossible to find. However the megasquirt has tons of threads on how to wire everything. You will most likely end up spending close to the same amount in little parts and tears as you cry yourself to sleep every night your z is still not running properly... At least this has been my experience.
