~KnuckleDuster~
Ok I'm about to put the new R200 in but noticed the passenger side stub axle sticks out more than the driver side. They poped firmly into the c clips but I can't recall if this was the way it was before. Need some piece of mind before I put everything back. Miles
Did you install new seals? Do your side shafts look like the attached picture? Edited June 18, 2016 by Miles
~KnuckleDuster~
I personally didn't but they look like they could be new. Yeah they look just like the pic. They are installed as they should with the shorter one on the driver side. The only thing that's different now is this is a clsd diff and the previous was open. ~KnuckleDuster~
Ok so by switching them around, long end on driver side and short on passenger side they pop in place perfectly. I've searched around and never came across anyone saying the stub's had to be flip flopped when changing to a clsd unit, or am I the first person to go from a 280zx R200 with 280z stub axles to a R31 skyline clsd R200 with 280z stub axles.. Look new to me Old diff..definitely used Edited June 18, 2016 by ~KnuckleDuster~
