///Mink Posted August 13, 2016 Share Posted August 13, 2016 Hi all. I'm no expert, so I'm turning to you guys. I'm parting out a 240Z and it had this differential setup in it. It is shorter than a standard 240Z diff and has CVs at both ends. It had a homemade hack of a front mount holding it in. Part number on top of the housing are 38311-40f00. The CV style looks early 80'sish, 3x2 holes. http://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?t=22269 Get the ratio and see if it's open or VLSD. I don't think that it would be CLSD. They're hard to find anymore. Measure the length and count the splines, somebody will probably take them. Call them 3x2 CV shafts.
