z ya
If I run 3/8's line after the 5/16 fuel tank outlet all the way too the carb , am I gonna get fuel starvation? I have a Summit 111 gph electric pump that runs 16 psi. It is then regulated down to 6 psi. With that kind of fuel pressure I cant see it starving but who knbow? Oh, I have a 350 sbc making approx 400hp at the crank. Thanks Z YA
blueovalz
You should be fine, in fact, you would probably be OK even with the 5/6" all the way.
Modern Motorsports Ltd
Agreed with Terry....and your high psi won't prevent starvation...that's pretty much a volume relation. I recall something round abouts 45gph being lots for 400hp? I'd always thought it'd be nice to have a return line plumbed with carbs but haven't seen a system (that I recall) to do that yet. You'd have nice cool fuel constantly with your pump and a return that's for sure.....(sometimes it's our return line size in EFI app's that is just as important...) Guest rooh
Barry Grant has a test on the website to tell weather your fuel setup is enough.
