///Mink
Hi all. I just removed the seats from my '72 240z (6/72) to reupholster them and found that they appear to be a mish-mash of seat parts from different years. Looking to the experts to confirm my suspicions. I found that the seat bottoms have webbing instead of springs, which I thought ended in 1971. However, it also appears that my hinge/recline mechanism is correct for a '72. Finally, the seat studs had these black "spacers" on them between the rail and the mount on the floor. Are these original? See attached photos. I appreciate any feedback. ///Mink
So I discovered that the spacers are original. My new seat covers say 70-73 and the pads say 70-78 so I suppose I can just replace the webbing and call it good, even though it's not 100% correct for a '72. rjracin240
Had Pirelli Webbing in my 9/72 240Z, the black spacers are for adjusting seat height and came installed under the seat attachment bolts
