JoeinCA
and, yes, i am aware that my last post didnt exactly show perfect english... I've found that it is better not to criticize grammar and such, because then people like to try to point out EVERY single mistake that you make. And i have a tendency to write the longest sentences that has ever been known to man.. riiight... I think i am going to go to a nice junkyard and grab an entire rear end for my Z, and maybe some toyota disc brakes... that may solve some of my problems... Oh, by the way, cna anyone tell me what kind of adjustable coil overs are available to basically bolt onto my 77 280z? i would like some nice coli-overs so i can tuen my suspension a bit... Guest Anonymous
To 82Racecar Good luck to you. You are family. We all need to stand together. Maybe I can mail you some spare parts. I may have an extra cam. Stay in school. Get that good job that you enjoy. Then show the world what you and that Z have to offer.

Wow, this has got to be the best advice I've heard on the use of any language. If I can't read it easily and make out what the gist of the question is, I'm not inclined to try to answer. Great advice! Great advice on putting off the project and getting some kind of education that will pull in the bucks - then later on you can build killer cars AND have money for other important things. It takes a bit of patience, but it always seems to work out much better in the end. These days if I were starting over, I'd probably look into getting an MCSE, etc. and flat raking in some nice bucks after that. That industry will only go under if we have armagedon (sp?). Guest Anonymous
if you have some extra parts im shure i could use them lik i said i basicly have a good block good crank rods and 5 pistond but i think im guna get 11/1 pistons r flat tops what ever you wana call them?: i do have a stock cast iron intake that may have to hold me out for a wial im planning on haveing the motor in the summer saying most every thing i can do my selfe i only have lack of money and parts arts due to money so all comes down to money: i can fab every thing but the motor mounts ill buy them and i know a guy who wants my L28E with headers and over sized injectors and cam to put in his little nissan truck.. should be intresting aying i cant keep the back end down on my car more or less if he is guna put it in a truck... will be the fastest inline 6 truck iv ever seen i think but he ant geting the motor till i have mine built saying its my only transpertation and as fare as every ones conversions taking so long yes it can but i think i can do it in a weekend with no sleep saying we put a 350 and 350turbo short shaft in a 4runner that had a 4 banger and had it runing in 2 days :but over heating due to a little radeator: but all that has been worked out and he drives it every day... but any wasy i had a guy im guessing saw this bord and wrote me a email about a job... thanx man and im guna call you tonight if you read this...so if i get a job things should be rolling along but if you got a water pump or some rods or lifter arms that you can spair let me know and a cam would be grate.. right now i have a guy who is holding me 2 trans mishions both he wants a 100 for he has a 350turbo short shaft :good old proven trans: and a 700r short shaft 5 speed :have some worryes about other people braking them but i like the idea of 5 gears: both auto... he also has a performer intake with like a 2 inch rise above stock and a set of 202 dubble hump heads i would also like to have... but we will see how it go`s im planing on braking those pistons out as gently as i can today so i dont hirt the cylinder walls or so im praying i dont have to bore it out... because that will only make it more expinsive to buy pistons for it and cant have that now can we any ways about adjusting the springs i put sprin saports in the back of mine the ones that have 2 bolts and the metal plats that hold the spring apart i only get like a 1 inch travle when i slam it in the flow no more sit down and it handles better turning .. cost me 5 dollars and i dont bottom out any more mabey you should try them if your in the same money boat as me.. thanx every one and talk to you soon
