Sweet, that looks like a nice setup, are those things rare? i wouldnt mind one... hmmm, are they the same as the twin turbo versions? i mean do they have part interchangability? i want to go single turbo and i starting out with one would save me wieght until i could get a bigger one...

As far as i know they are same internals etc....same block and heads i think...diffrent intake and **** ..... fuel system i think is also diffrent but they have been knowen to produce 800HP with stock internals

 

ordered mine it should be 2 days away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just if you want to know i got my motor yesterday and spent all day stripping it down, it has a water cooled turbo, VVT and all the fruit of a new motor, 5 speed r33 box etc.... its gonna be awesome

who needs proof ive got one of them motors in the corner of the shed and im stuffed if i can find a gearbox for it! oh well it only cost me au$450 so i guess the turbo will come in handy. there ball bearing dont you know also the turbos cant be boosted beyond 14psi being ceramic and the heads are different to tt heads to by the way.ide like to see the t/b's on some sort of hybrid injection set up on a old z

What I do know

 

Black rocker cover

Water-cooled ball bearing turbo

Variable valve timing

BTW if any of you turbo guys know.... I was pulling apart my motor, and found the turbo full of oil, is that a sign the turbo is stuffed or is that how they transport second hand turbos. also the motor is an import so it probly hasnt been started for like 6 months
