Bartman
I’m going to upgrade my rear brakes and I’m a little confused with my current setup. I got this from @Tim240zmany years ago and I believe the rear strut housings are from a 280Z and the calipers from a 79 - 81 280ZX, but instead of a bolt on adapter the bracket for mounting the caliper appears to be an integrated part of the strut housing itself. Of course I can cut these off, but I ‘d like to know what I have first. Bartman
They are indeed 280Z strut housings. Although it looks like one piece because it uses all four bolts instead of just three of them like most adapters, there is a Maxima/280ZX brake adapter bolted to it.
