mutantZ
My windshield area has a lot of rust in the channel I need to cut out. I noticed some of the muscle car guys are going with flush mount windshields. So far I haven't seen it on any datsun. Do you guys know of one? I am curious to see what it looks like. Sometimes they can look a little odd, sometimes they look great. And yes, I have shrinker/stretchers to make a new channel 😄 This is what I'm talking about btw. https://www.feslerusa.com/collections/fesler-flush-mounted-d-o-t-glass
Apex
Wow I really like that look. Really modernizes the car.
mutantZ
Yeah, I'm kind of surprised the guys at MZR haven't done it yet. They basically remade the entire dashboard and rear of the car.
mutantZ
Couldn't resist so I Photochopped it. Still the cheapest way to mod a car.😄 Before and after. Pretty subtle, dunno if it's worth the hassle. It would probably look way better in person. Edited November 9, 2023 by mutantZ

evildky
I considered it. decided to minimize non reversible mods. The photoshop I don't think shows what it would actually look like. you basically would have painted metal up to the center of where the stainless trim mounted in the windshield gasket.
