Daniel13brx7
Hi guys, I just purchased an 82 turbo auto 280zx. I'm replacing the vacuum lines and I found this mystery hose that's attached to the bottom of the throttle body and ends next to the power steering reservoir. Does anyone know what it's supposed to be connected too?
Daniel13brx7
well, i figured it out. That vacuum hose goes to the charcoal canister upper port. but that ports broken on canister. So i either have to replace it or come up with a repair for it.
socorob
Someone got the canister off an old Nissan truck, I think a Frontier. It was newer and looked exactly the same. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1002271&cc=1211050&pt=5180&jsn=606 Maybe it was off an early 90s truck? socorob
So that goes to the vacuum port on the throttle body, the other one comes from the gas tank. Where does the 3rd one go to? I have an LS swap and trying to figure out hot to hook it up.
