Guest Ian turbo240
I'm about to rebuild my 240ZT engine and I'm in the process of converting to the Z31 ems. Anyway, I'm currently running a v-trim t3/t4 hybrid and modded starion intercooler. My hairbrained idea is to get another starquest intercooler and weld the two together so that they would be one large intercooler. We recently bought a TIG welder, so I can now do the welding myself. What do you guys think of this? I'm trying to be cheap here! I've blown my wad on the pistons and ems, so there's no more money for the intercooler or turbo upgrade. I thought that welding 2 starquest intercoolers together might be a cheap way to go. Ian
SleeperZ
Welded in parallel, either atop one another or one behind the other would probably work fairly well. Go for it.

Guest Zcarsmakemyheadhurt
One on top of the other check sdsefi.com's tech/info section they have a nice section on fabricating intercoolers.
