If you have 17 x 8's like I do, check the closeout prices on yokohama AVS Intermediates. Size 235-40-ZR17 .... $63.00 Ea. !!! These tires rock!!! Super grippy, great for the corners. As soon as I have time and figure out how I will post some pics. I just put big brakes (wilwood) and 5lug wheels on and I'm lovi'n It. Cheers, Mike. The price is outstanding but will they perform on a 400+ HP car thats built to corner? Some first hand insight would be great. auxilary Posted February 19, 2003 Share Posted February 19, 2003 avs intermediates are a discontinued model, they're replaced with avs es100 tires. i ran avs intermediates on my neon, they survived 27k miles of hard street driving, 2 thunderhill road track events being pushed to the limit. good tires, especially for the bang. i'd get them right now, but they're discontinued, and just whatever's left over is being sold dirt cheap - nothing in my size Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
