Guest Anonymous
I just scanned a dyno sheet from last month and a 10 sec timeslip vs. a turbo Suzuki Hyabusa. http://photos.yahoo.com/sss510six

fl327
looking good, you still need to race 240z turbo though.
240Z Turbo
He definitely has me beat with the timeslip thus far. I have the power advantage(for now), but the launch is something else with his 1.6 60ft. Very impressive indeed. Do you think the nitrous is actually working??HEHE! BTW, what cam are you running in that car? I bet folks don't quite understand how this little 510 is running 10s with such high mph and NO INTERCOOLER! Guest Anonymous
I am running the exact same Web cam grind you are . My motor is just a 3.0 diesel crank stroker with the stongest parts i could afford. It was built by Vern at Raver Motorsports in Visalia,CA.SDS with 420cc injectors controlls the fuel an MSD digital 6 and a MSD boost controll take care of the ignition.I run a Clutch Specialties sintered iron clutch with a 2600lbs pressure plate it all fits in a 83 280zx turbo BW bellhousing modified to fit a T56 six speed from a 98 Camero .The driveline has Spicer competition U -joints and ARP bolts. My rearend is R200 with Nismo competion LSD with Nismo comp U-joints in the halfshafts ( soon to be Porsche 930 cv`s with custom axels). The turbo is a Stock CT 26 turbo from an 89 Supra with a NOS sportsman fogger kit and a annular discharge single fogger in the intake tract.Work is being done on the front and rear suspention to make the car hook even better as it can get a little sideways down the track. Guest Anonymous
Nitrous Oxide is my intercooler,I am running a single fogger before the TB according to a friend watching my SDS controller my intake temps dropped around 70* instantly. Then the mixture travels a bit farther and gets cooled even further with the port nitrous. The total drop is over 100*.Boost + nitrous is just like peanut butter and jelly all sorts of good things start happening. ( provided your motor is strong enough to take it.)Oh, i am also running a Spearco water injection kit with 50% distilled water 40% denatured alcohol and 10% pump saver for airless paintsprayers to cut down on corrosion. 240Z Turbo
E-mail me about a turbo when you are ready to make more power. I think you can expect to make 550hp@wheels. BTW, I bet the exhaust manifold is killing you as far as making power in the higher rpms. Just a thought.
