RB26powered74zcar
James, that is a work of art. No way in the world with that design, will you have to worry about cracking issues.
Mudge
Looks very nice! I notice the ports look round, one thing I've wondered since most of us are going to be 'stuck' with rectangular exaust ports, how does that work out? How big are the tubes that you used? They do not obstruct the exaust port right? On the #1 and #6 primaries, are those for hooking onto something for stability/strength?
240Z Turbo
The ports are round and will be matched to my port before use. My ports are D-shaped and the round holes you see are smaller than my D-shaped ports so as to allow me to properly port the header flange. The jobbers on the #1 and #6 are for the slip joint and allow those tubes to slightly move when hot, but not move too much as to lose the seal. Oh Yea, turbo's are 2x Mitsubishi 16G's. Larger 20G's will be upgraded after I graduate.
S30Z Bushido
wow, looking very good man. are you planning on coating the header with anything? kind of off topic but i was wondering if you have fabricated the cover for the intake mani on your hood, i'm curious to see what you have planned for that.
