Mikelly
I just took all the wheel spacers off my back wheels (2001 Ford Mustang Silver 5 stars) except for the 1/2 inch spacer and MAN, the 245-40s fit perfect... I went ahead and lowered the coils all the way down and it looks SOOO Tough... Might have to forego the flares and suffer the traction... This car would look soo sweet with the Gnose and some silver metalic paint! I get connected tomorrow and will have power to the garage!!! Pics later.. Jwink25
What size rims are those? And, what is the backspacing? I just got my 17x8 Centerline Pintails with 5 inch Backspacing in, and was wondering what tire size would look good. I will also have coilovers. Thanks, Jason
Mikelly
These are 17X8 with 5.75 back spacing I think. I'm running 245-40s and could likely squeeze some 255s under it with rolling the fender lip.. MIke
Jwink25
So, with a 5.75 BS and a 1/2 inch spacer...that would be like a 5.25 inch BS? I have a 5 inch BS. Would 245/40 still fit without rolling the fender lip? Also, got any pics? Jason
pparaska
I hope the electric hook-up happened for ya! Yeah, a stock bodied Z with FAT meats and lowered looks pretty tough! Forget it Mike, you're going to need flairs and WIDE street tires. Just do it!
Mikelly
Nope, Sure didn't. They stiffed me. However, my brother inlaw came out and we hooked up all the lights and most of the fixtures... I'll be in Florida from Tomorrow until Next Saturday, So They won't be doing it this week. Mike
